It’s lovely to hear a fresh performance of familiar compositions, and today’s Beautiful Music features Phoebe Carrai playing Johann Sebastian Bach’s Third Suite for Unaccompanied Cello. She performs on baroque cello, and teaches Historical Performance at The Juilliard School, where she has been on the faculty since 2009. Phoebe Carrai is from Boston, and has played with some of the top international baroque ensembles, including the Arcadian Academy, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra, Göttingen Festspiel Orchestra, and Musica Antiqua Köln.
