April is Poetry Month, so today’s Beautiful Music highlights the musical friendship of composer Margaret Bonds and poet Langston Hughes. Georgetown University Library hosted the 2016 performance of Bonds’ songs set the Hughes’ poetry. The concert featured Department of Performing Arts Featuring soprano Marlissa Hudson and Marvin Mills, with readings by Mar J. Cox and Demetrius Cooper..
