It’s always gratifying to see talented performers who are emerging artists — they are the future of the art form we love. Today’s Beautiful Music is from Early Music America’s 2021 Emerging Arts Showcase. The performers are the multi-genre group Beneath a Tree, and harpist Monika Ruusmaa with Héctor Alfonso Torres, who plays theorbo, baroque guitar and lutes. This delightful program includes music by Domenico Gabrielli, Nicola Matteis, Alonso Mudarra, Luis de Milan, Santiago de Murcia, and others.
