Beautiful Music in Difficult Times August 28

French baroque composer Michel Corrette brings us his Beautiful Music today. These are six sonatas from a 1739 collection called LES DELICES DE LA SOLITUDE (The Delights of Solitude) played by Philippe Foulon – viole d’Orphée (a reconstruction of a long-forgotten instrument), Jean-Claude Lavoignat – baroque bassoon, Philippe Le Corf – violone, Willian Water – baroque guitar & théorbe and Emer Buckley -playing harpsichord and organ.
