We’re celebrating Bastille Day this weekend with music by a variety of French composers in the years leading up to the Revolution. It’s on Sunday Baroque this weekend.

Pierre-Francisque Caroubel was born in the middle of the 16th century – he was French violinist and composer who worked for France’s King Louis the 13th Some of Caroubel’s music was included in a famous 1612 dance collection, and Sunday Baroque will feature some of it.
