Tokyo-born mandolin player Hideki Yamaya studied in California with John Schneiderman, and later formed a performing duo with his teacher and mentor. In 2021 they released a recording — DUETS FOR BAROQUE LUTE & MANDOLIN. You’ll have a chance to audition some of the music on the recording on Sunday Baroque this weekend.
