Yale Baroque Opera Project (YBOP) will present a production of Francesco Cavalli’s mythological opera La Calisto on May 4 and 5, 2013 at University Theatre in New Haven. YBOP is part of a larger project to promote the study and performance of Baroque opera, both at Yale and beyond. Suzanne Bona spoke with Yale Professor and baroque opera expert, Ellen Rosand, who is Executive Director of the project.
