Lars Vogt was a German pianist particularly known for his performances of piano music by Johannes Brahms, and as a conductor he served as Music Director of the Royal Northern Sinfonia and Orchestre de Chambre de Paris. Sadly, Lars Vogt died of cancer on September 5, 2022 — just three days short of his 52nd birthday today, September 8, 2022.
