Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires (The Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra) is an Argentinian orchestra founded in 1946 as Orquesta Sinfónica del Teatro Municipal. The orchestra is based in the renowned Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, and is one of the most prestigious orchestras in Latin America. Today’s Beautiful Music features a 2019 performance by Orquesta Filarmónica de Buenos Aires, conducted by Christian Baldini with flute soloist Claudio Barile, playing the Concerto for Flute, Strings and Cembalo in d minor by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.
