All of the musicians you hear on Sunday Baroque had mothers. Venetian musician Barbara Strozzi was born in 1619, and she was one of the rare baroque era composers who was herself a mother! Barbara Strozzi was a talented singer, prolific composer, and mother of four. You can read more about her life and career using the link below.
