Throughout this week Beautiful Music will focus on a terrific series called SalonEra, a live-streamed early music-focused variety show designed as a salon experience for the 21st century. SalonEra founder Debra Nagy says “I hope that SalonEra is something of a gateway drug to consuming more early music! SalonEra exposes audiences to fascinating projects and performers that they might not otherwise encounter.” Today’s Beautiful Music features a SalonEra episode featuring Karin Cuellar-Rendon and the Ximenez Quartet, and a program called MUSIC AND POLITICS.
