Today’s Beautiful Music is by Johann Sebastian Bach, and it’s likely a piece you’ve never heard before.
The Choralfantasie Wo Gott der Herr nicht bei uns halt BWV 1128 — believed to have been composed by Bach was a young man in his 20s — was only rediscovered by music scholars in 2008. This performance is by organist Manuel Tomadin, who is artistic director of the Organ International Festival in Udine and Antonio Vivaldi Festival of Trieste.
