Claudia Francesca Rusca lived from 1593-1676 and was an Italian musician: a composer, singer, and organist. Rusca was also a nun at the Umiliate monastery of St. Caterina in Brera. In 1630 she published some sacred music, and today’s Beautiful Music features one of them.
