Recently I had the great pleasure to attend a concert featuring clarinetist Anthony McGill in a small venue. I was already a huge fan of his artistry; he is a renowned soloist and Principal Clarinet of the New York Philharmonic. Sitting only a few feet away as he performed gave me a close-up view of his phenomenal talent! Today’s Beautiful Music gives you a similar (albeit virtual) view of Anthony McGill, performing the third movement of the Clarinet Sonata by Francis Poulenc, with pianist Peter Dugan.
