Duo MemDi was formed in 2010 when its two members — pianist Dr. Rochelle Sennet and violinist Dr. Igor Kalnin — were both on the faculty at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan. Today’s Beautiful Music features the award-winning duo from their March 16, 2019 recital at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Their program is a thrilling mix of music by American composers Clarence Cameron White and Harrison Leslie Adams, Jr., J. Lee, Ludwig van Beethoven, Niccolò Paganini, and Piotr Tchaikovsky.
