“When Israel came out of Egypt: and the house of Jacob from among the strange people, Judah was his sanctuary: and Israel his dominion.”
Antonio Vivaldi composed his sacred work IN EXITU ISRAEL in 1739, near the end of his life. The upbeat composition is for mixed chorus with string instruments. Today’s Beautiful Music is a live concert performance of Vivaldi’s IN EXITU ISRAEL by Collegium Tel Aviv with string players from the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Buenos Aires-born conductor, bandoneon player, and singer Eduardo Abramson.
