My toes are tapping as I enthusiastically share this Beautiful Music with you! It’s from a production called TOO HOT TO HANDEL: THE GOSPEL MESSIAH. It’s a spirited gospel adaptation of George Frideric Handel’s oratorio MESSIAH. Handel was such a showman, I think he’d love this reimagining by esteemed conductor Marin Alsop. Below you will also find a link with more about the work.

Handel may have liked it, but I sure don’t. Was forced to participate in this rendition a few years ago and it felt very sacrilegious. For those who like it—enjoy.
Thanks for your comment. This is what I love about art: it’s subjective, and we can all experience it differently. 🙂
