Beautiful Music in Difficult Times September 17

Earlier this year, violinist Augustin Hadelich was given extended long-term use of a magnificent and historic violin crafted in 1744: the Leduc/Szeryng Guarneri del Gesu violin. Today’s Beautiful Music features him playing music by Johann Sebastian Bach on this extraordinary instrument. You can hear him play two versions (one faster, one slower) of Bach’s Sonata #1 in g minor: ADAGIO movement. You can also watch his Masterclass tutorial about his approach to playing Bach’s music.
