William White may not be a familiar name to you. The English composer lived from 1571 until c. 1634 and is not well known. Two of his small cache of known compositions are played by Abendmusik, New York’s Period Instrument String Band: Fantasia #2 in 6 parts and Fantasia no. 4 in 6 parts.
