Beautiful Music in Difficult Times October 21

Who can blame a couple of terrific double bass players for wanting to play a meaty, challenging concerto and why should they be limited to only music written specifically for their instrument? This Beautiful Music was originally a Concerto by Antonio Vivaldi for 2 cellos, but it’s played by Hal Robinson and Joseph Conyers, the Principal and Assistant Principal Bass Players of the Philadelphia Orchestra, respectively.
