Sandra Rivers is Professor of Collaborative Piano at Cincinnati College-Conservatory at The University of Cincinnati. “Collaborative piano” is a term sometimes used to describe a pianist who plays with one or more instrumentalists or singers. Sandra Rivers is a phenomenal musician who has collaborated with performers including Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, Anne Aiko Meyers, Itzhak Perlman, Kathleen Battle, Gil Shaham, Joshua Bell, and Sarah Chang. Today’s Beautiful Music is her collaboration with violinist Cho-Liang Lin on some post-baroque music by Mozart.
