Rosa Giacinta Badalla was a Milanese composer who lived from c.1660-c.1710. She was also a Benedictine nun, and we have only a small number of her lovely compositions — a collection of motets and a pair of cantatas. This is Beautiful Music by Rosa Giacinta Badalla — her solo motet NON PLANGETE — performed by soprano Christina Larsson Malmberg, cellist Mime Yamahiro Brinkmann, and harpsichordist Mariangiola Martello in a live 2018 concert.
