Earth Day has been celebrated annually around the globe since 1970. The official date of Earth Day is April 22, and this year it’s a three-day celebration beginning today: April 20. You can read more about Earth Day 2021 using the link below. And you can listen to Beautiful Music inspired by nature — today is the first of our three-day celebration of this important occasion focusing on protecting our plant.
Since approximately 70% of our planet is covered with water, we’ll begin with two concertos by Antonio Vivaldi that are inspired by nature’s turbulence and drama: each with the subtitle “Tempesta di Mare” or the Sea Tempest. One is a flute concerto and the other a violin concerto.
