April 10th is Siblings Day, when we celebrate the special bond that exists between siblings. Today’s Beautiful Music is provided by a SPECTACULARLY talented group of seven musical siblings: The Kanneh-Mason family. Isata is 24 and plays piano, Braimah is 22 and plays violin, 21 year old Sheku is a cellist, 20 year old Konya plays piano and violin, Jeneba is 18 and plays cello and piano, 15 year old Aminata plays violin and piano, and 11 year old Mariatu plays cello and piano. This talented young family has not only great skill, but passion and poise, as you’ll see and hear in this selection of performances by all seven together. It is such a pleasure to watch them make music together. You can also watch an interview with their parents, and see a short video self-introduction.
