Some of the top musicians specializing in playing baroque music grew out of collaborations between friends, initially casual projects that gelled into longstanding ensembles. They include bunch of conservatory students forming a period instrument group in 1973, and a huge brass ensemble that needed a big space to practice, so they bartered with a local Chapel. We’re highlighting some friendly collaborations on Sunday Baroque this weekend.
