The Kobe, Japan native became a church organist as a teenager, and pursued his musical studies in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, before returning home to found the Bach Collegium of Japan. You’ll hear Masaaki Suzuki leading his ensemble playing music by their namesake on Sunday Baroque this weekend.
