Mozart and Allegri’s Miserere

The Berlin Philharmonic is one of the world’s great orchestras, famous for its performances of music from beyond the baroque era. But in the 1990s, some of its principal players wanted to explore earlier music, too.

They formed the Berlin Baroque Soloists. Hear them, along with one of the Philharmonic’s principal flutists, playing Bach’s Second Orchestral Suite this week on Sunday Baroque.
