In the 1920s a treasure trove of Antonio Vivaldi’s music was discovered in a monastery near Turin. Eventually, it was transferred to Turin’s National University Library, and in the year 2000, an ambitious project called THE VIVALDI EDITION was launched to record all of those manuscripts. It’s still going on, and you can hear selection from the most recent release in the series on Sunday Baroque this week.
