Trumpet virtuoso Alison Balsom is an award-winning musician, including the 2013 Gramophone Artist of the Year, and three-time winner of the Classical Brits. Pianist Lisa Smirnova left her home in the Soviet Union in 1991 and pursued her training international and formed her own ensemble.
